1/2 - 3/4 Cup Mayonnaise (Not Salad Dressing) |

Seasoned Italian Bread Crumbs |

Preheat oven to 350o. Lay Walleye fillets evenly over the bottom of a 9 x 13 glass baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice, add seasoning salt and pepper to taste. Spread Mayonnaise 1/4 - 3/8 inch thick over fish. Bake 20 - 25 minutes, (until fish flakes easily), remove and sprinkle liberally with Seasoned Italian Bread Crumbs. Place under broiler about 2 minutes, until bread crumbs are lightly browned.
*** Keep a close eye on the Bread Crumbs, they scorch very easily with the oil from the Mayonnaise. Remove and serve.
Very rich recipe, keep accompaniments simple, avoiding dishes with rich sauces, lots of butter, etc. Best served with tossed salad, steamed vegetables, and fresh rolls.
Total Preparation and Cooking time, about 30 - 35 minutes.
