Cook's notes - For a fresh seafood dip try a mixture of well seasoned baked, broiled, or boiled fresh fish, dice salad shrimp, and crab. This recipe also works great with left over ham, or turkey after the holidays. Simply run the leftovers through the food processor, or sausage grinder. And, depending upon your preference you can add a little extra mayonnaise or sour cream to find desired consistency, and use as a sandwich spread also. You may want to add a little salt if using un-smoked ingredients, the smoked fish or ham, as a rule has plenty of salt already.
